Nursery wall stickers are versatile and can easily be changed as your baby grows.  No longer do you have to spend days repainting the whole room to change the theme, you can simply pull the nursery wall stickers off and put up new ones which match your childs interest and age.

These are a fantastic idea for when you are renting and you really want to add a personal touch to your babies room, as they are cheap and can easily be removed without damaging paintwork when the time comes for you to move out.

We have all noticed parents carrying around that huge baby diaper bag, but do you really want to weigh yourself down with all that stuff?  As a first time parent you don’t automatically know what you need to put into that new baby diaper bag but you do know that it is an essential item when you are taking your baby out of the house.

Baby Diaper Bag Essentials  baby 300x199 What to Carry in Your New Baby Diaper Bag

Following are a few items which I would carry with me  when  taking my own baby out of the house.

    • Spare diapers or nappies.  Allow 1 for every 2 hours you are out and then put a couple of spares in, in case you are held up or your baby has an exceptionally busy day.
      • If you are bottle feeding, you need to carry formula and have sterilised bottles with enough boiled water in to make up your babies feed.  I actually use to make the bottles up before I left home and carried them in an insulated bottle carrier so they stayed warm.  baby bottles
      • You need to have at least 1 spare change of clothes in case of accidents.  If you have a baby who sicks up a lot like I did,  it is best to carry a few sets.  They are only small and don’t take up much room in your baby diaper bag.
      • At least 2 clean bibs and a burping cloth to put over your shoulder when you burp your baby.
      • Baby wipes for when you are changing        your baby.
      • Nappy changing cream to prevent nappy rash.
      • Plastic bags to put soiled nappies and clothes in.
      • Spare pacifier if your baby uses them.
      • A change mat so you can lay your baby down in a public change area and know it is clean.
      • A couple of small toys.
      • A small light wrap you can put over yourself if breastfeeding your baby in public.

All of these items are only small and light so when carrying your baby diaper bag around,  it shouldn’t be too much trouble.

If you are looking for a cheap and fast way to decorate your nursery or childs bedroom, take a look at the huge choice of wall stickers for kids available.   They come in a variety of sizes, colours and themes to suit any age and are quick to put up which will give your childs room a complete new look in no time.

Wall stickers for kids are made from a thin plastic which has an adhesive backing which makes them simple to apply to your wall.  They won’t damage your paint either when your baby or child has outgrown the theme chosen.

It is best not to apply the stickers when the weather is humid or else you may have trouble getting them to stick.    The wall surface needs to be clean, dry, flat and in good condition with no cracks or chips in the paintwork where the stickers will be applied.    If the wall isn’t in good condition, wall stickers can lift off paint.  Also remember, freshly painted walls need at least 12 weeks to cure before applying your wall stickers.

The choice can be a little overwhelming but a few things to think about when choosing the best wall stickers for kids is to think about what type of theme you want to create.  There is everything from alphabet, numbers, sesame street, princesses, jungle, beach and heaps more.  Will the theme grow with your child or will you need to update it frequently?  Look at the other colours in your childs room and choose something which will complement your theme already so you don’t have to go to the expense of new linen etc. Putting up the stickers will give your childs room a fresh new look which they will love.

Well things have sure changed from the ugly and unpractical baby diaper bags which were available when my own children were young.  No longer do you have to cart around the old unattractive bag to carry all those necessities for bub when your out.

Recently while doing some online research on baby diaper bags available, I came across some sites offering not only useful bags but really smart and trendy.  They come in all ranges of colours, sizes and styles from shoulder bags to backpacks and there are even stylish bags suitable for Dads to carry around.              diaper bag hip hop The News On Baby Diaper Bags

For your baby diaper bag to be practical, it needs to have enough room inside without being too big and clumsy.  Lets face it,  when you take your baby out, the last thing you need is a huge bag where you can’t find anything in.  It needs to have different compartments to carry your necessities such as a place to keep the  soiled clothing away from the area where you carry the food, baby bottles and spare pacifiers.

Baby Diaper Bags – Trendy versus Practical

The good news is, is that you can have it all.  There is so much to choose from out there,  your biggest problem will be which one to get.   A few things to think about when looking at all those baby diaper bags are:

      • Who will be carrying it the most – Mum or Dad
      • Is it washable
      • Does it have pockets and compartments
      • Is there enough room where you can easily put all the necessities in and be able to             access  them quickly – there is nothing worse then a bag being too small and you having to unpack the whole thing to get what you want out of it
      • Do you want a shoulder bag or a backpack
      • and lastly, is it durable enough to last you the couple of years you will be needing it to carry baby and toddler necessities around

Whether you call them prams buggies pushchairs or strollers they all have one objective in mind, and that is to help you carry your baby around safely and easily.

When my own children were young, I didn’t give much thought to buying a pram.  I was given an old second hand one when I had my first baby and found it to be heavy and very hard to put up and down and get into the boot of the car.  Needless to say, once I started using it and found it unsuitable, I quickly did some research and purchased a new lightweight and easily dismantled baby stroller.

Different types of Prams Buggies and Strollers

Prams Buggies and StrollersFirst time Mums are often confused at what you should be looking for when purchasing a suitable pram for their baby and often get talked into buying something which doesn’t suit their needs.

Here are a few questions to ask,  for when you are out looking at all those prams buggies and strollers  and trying to decide which is best for you and your baby.

      • Is it lightweight so you can easily lift it into the boot of your car
      • Can you quickly and easily put it up or down
      • Does it provide shade for your baby
      • Is there suitable safety harnesses which will grow with your baby
      • Can you easily adjust the position your baby is in, from laying down to sitting up
      • Does it have  a pocket to put those little extras such as spare bottle, dummy, bibs and nappies
      • Are the wheels durable enough for what you want to do with it, for example, someone who will only stick to concrete won’t need the same type of pram as someone who plans to go jogging or cross country
      • Is the fabric easily cleaned and durable
      • How much can you afford to pay                                            stroller travelsystems Prams Buggies Pushchairs or Strollers
      • Is there attachments for a toddler

You could probably think of other features you would like as well, but this is a start.  For more information and options on prams buggies and strollers please take a look at our range.
